Are you a passionate Maths graduate or qualified Maths teacher ready to transform lives through education? Do you want your work to genuinely make a difference every single day?

We’re looking for a dynamic, creative, and inspirational Maths Tutor to deliver City & Guilds Functional Skills Maths qualifications (Entry Level 1 to Level 2) at HMP Ashfield, a secure facility where education is the foundation of second chances.

What You’ll Be Doing:


* Deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons, including GCSE level
* Adapt your teaching to suit diverse abilities and neurodiverse learners
* Design inclusive, learner-centered lessons and Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
* Support learners in overcoming barriers and developing confidence in Maths
* Maintain detailed progress reports and work with awarding bodies
* Encourage a love of learning and promote reading for pleasure
* Collaborate with a passionate team to enhance curriculum delivery

* Salary: £28,000 – £37,000
* Full-time hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (40hrs/week)

What You’ll Need:

* A degree in Maths or significant experience teaching Maths
* A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
* A positive, patient, and passionate attitude toward adult education
* A belief in second chances and the power of learning to transform lives
