Private Client Secretary/Legal Assistant (full time)
Location: Faversham Office (occasional travel to Herne Bay)

Overview
We are seeking a legal secretary to join our Private Client team. The ideal candidate will have private client experience in supporting fee earners, relating to Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, and Court of Protection matters, someone who is keen to take the next step towards a junior paralegal career, and will work directly with the Head of Private Client.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-level administrative support to fee-earners within the Private Client department
• Draft letters and documents.
• Liaise professionally with clients and third parties.
• Manage diaries and coordinate appointments across offices
• Assist in preparing bundles and documentation for Court of Protection proceedings
• Maintain organised filing systems, both digital and paper-based
• Monitor and progress matters under supervision, with increasing responsibility over time
Criteria
The ideal candidate will have private client experience, be able to efficiently manage diaries and provide a high level and accurate support.The ideal candidate will be able to travel between offices and operate a high level of professionalism and confidence when meeting with clients.
Career Progression
This role offers a potential route towards a paralegal position for the right candidate. Structured mentorship and training will be provided to build confidence in drafting legal documentation, client handling, and procedural requirements.
