Lanmark is seeking a high-energy, ambitiousNew Business Executive / SDRto drive the top of the sales funnel. This role is pivotal in identifying, contacting, and qualifying new business opportunities across our key service offerings:IT Service Desk Support,Managed IT Services,Cyber Security Services and Cloud Solutions.
This is an ideal opportunity for a confident communicator with a passion for technology and a hunger to progress within a rapidly growing MSP. You will be responsible for proactive outbound lead generation, booking qualified meetings, and helping to build a strong sales pipeline for the senior sales team.
Key Responsibilities
* Make60+ outbound cold calls per dayto target accounts in the UK SMB sector.
* Identify key decision-makers and qualify prospective clients through effective discovery.
* Book8-12 qualified meetings per monthfor senior sales colleagues.
* Follow up on inbound enquiries and marketing-generated leads to convert into sales opportunities.
* Use tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot to research, contact, and nurture leads.
* Clearly articulate Lanmark’s value proposition in IT support, cloud services, cybersecurity and cloud solutions.
* Work closely with marketing to optimise messaging and campaign follow-ups.
* Maintain accurate records of all interactions, notes, and deal stages in the CRM system.
* Meet or exceed monthly activity and meeting targets.
* Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving client challenges.
* Attend internal training to build product knowledge and improve sales techniques.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Daily Cold Calls:60+
* Qualified Meetings Booked (Monthly):8–12
* Conversion Rate from Discovery to Qualified Meeting:10–20%
* CRM Accuracy:100% of lead data maintained weekly
* Sales-Ready Opportunities Passed:At least 4 per month
Candidate Profile
Essential Skills and Experience
* 1–2 years in B2B sales or outbound SDR role
* Proven experience in cold calling and outreach
* Excellent communication and objection-handling skills
* Highly organised and target-driven
* Experience within an MSP or technology provider
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365. Microsoft Azure
* Knowledge of IT support services
* Use of LinkedIn Sales Navigator
* Understanding of the SMB market in the UK
