Administrator
Location : Northampton (on-site with some hybrid-working)
Pay rate: £ per hour.
Full-Time, Mon-Fri (Mon 8hr shift and Tues – Fri 6hr shift)
Initially a 3 month contract with potential to become Ongoing.
We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to work with our client (leading logistics provider). You will be supporting the Regional & Area Operations Managers on an important contract by providing administrative support in all aspects of their activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Administration Manager, along with the Operations Management team in the daily management of the assigned contract.
2. Ensure Weekly Quicks & KPI’s, Payroll are completed accurately & on time, supporting other administrators where necessary.
3. Create and manage the weekly rotas for both Rigids & Lorry Loaders, including booking agency personnel and manage all daily changes in the shift plan and all absences.
4. Answer all telephone calls and emails in a professional manner.
5. Manage Holiday & Absence for your area, including completion of Working Time Directive register.
6. Maintain internal Management Data Spreadsheets and systems on a regular basis and in line with weekly deadlines.
7. Ensure population of Tachomaster with all absences/rest days ensuring regular housekeeping to keep the system live and up to date.
8. Ensure DVLA licence checks have been requested and verified for agency bookings.
9. Ensure SSOW documents have been signed by agency personnel prior to start of shift.
10. Daily management of the agency register and agency issues tracker.
11. Co-ordinate Customer Complaints, ensuring a suitable and timely closure of each, with strong communications.
12. Any other reasonable requests and responsibilities as directed by the Administration manager.
Requirements
13. Proven experience working in an administrative role.
14. Knowledge and experience of logistics and transport (preferred).
15. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and highly proficient in excel.
16. Positive ‘Can Do’ attitude with a desire to continually strive for improvement.

18. Ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
19. Excellent telephone manner
20. Highly numerate with keen eye for detail
21. Good communication skills, both written & verbal
22. Able to work under pressure to tight timescales.
