About the Position The Laminator operator role is part of the client production team and will work on machines allocated by the shift supervisor. The operator will run the machines, following the planned production schedule, on a shift rotation. To operate machinery to bond different layers of material (like film, foil, or paper) together, ensuring high-quality, defect-free flexible packaging for products. Main Duties: * Machine Operation & Setup: Adjusting, feeding, and operating laminating machines (e.g., sheet-to-sheet or reel-to-reel) according to technical specifications. * Quality Control:Inspecting materials for defects like wrinkles, bubbles, or poor bonding (delamination). * Material Preparation:Selecting and loading the correct films, adhesives, and substrates. * Adhesive Management:Monitoring glue application and conducting daily glue ratio checks. * Maintenance & Safety: Performing routine preventative maintenance, cleaning rollers/sensors, and strictly adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements. * Good housekeeping and keeping workstation clean.
