Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Engineer to join their on-site team, supporting all maintenance and engineering tasks across their operation.
What you’ll be doing:
* Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance
* Supporting new installations, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure works
* Fault finding and repairs (electrical & mechanical)
* Driving continuous improvement in reliability and performance
* Working closely with the Senior Engineer to ensure smooth shift handovers
* Monitoring safety risks and ensuring compliance with H&S standards
* Assisting with contractor oversight and site safety
What we’re looking for:
* Recognised electrical or mechanical qualification (e.g. C&G)
* Multi-skilled – ideally with experience in both trades
* Fault-finding skills down to component level
* Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems (desirable)
* Flexible and self-motivated with strong communication skills
* Able to work shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns
