Senior Engineer
Project: CP7 – Network Rail

Taylor Woodrow is recruiting for a Section Engineer to join our CP7 framework with Network Rail, delivering geotechnical and off-track drainage works across the Western region.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will play a key part in an eight-year, £2bn programme. You will support efficient delivery, maintain quality standards, and coordinate site engineering activities across multiple work locations.
Duties:
* Supervise and support Site Engineers, ensuring tasks are completed safely, accurately, and to programme.
* Ensure Inspection & Test Plans and Quality Check Sheets are completed promptly.
* Oversee engineering delivery for allocated work areas, including coordination with subcontractors.
* Manage document control to ensure accurate distribution and use of current information.
* Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and relevant procedures.
* Work with the Section Foreman to plan plant, labour, and resources.
* Ensure setting-out aligns with design and maintain accurate as-built records.
* Collaborate with other engineering and site teams to resolve clashes and maintain workflow.
Person Specification
* Previous experience as a Site/Section Engineer is essential.
* Degree qualified and working towards institute membership (ICE).
* Experience in drainage and/or rail is advantageous.
