About the Role
You will be working with children aged 4–8, supporting them during after-school sessions by:
Supervising pupils in a safe, happy, and stimulating environment
Encouraging positive behaviour, kindness, and social interaction
Supporting play-based activities and active learning
Promoting children’s wellbeing and emotional development
Ensuring health, safety, and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
✅ The Ideal Candidate
This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in an infant or primary school, or in roles such as Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Early Years Practitioner, or Cover Supervisor.
You’ll be perfect for the role if you are:
Experienced working with children (6 months+ in a UK school setting)
Passionate about early years and child development
Patient, nurturing, and caring by nature
Adaptable and confident in a busy school environment
