As a Yard Controller, you will bring our award-winning service directly to our customers’ door, embodying the Northgate experience. No previous experience is necessary; a ‘can-do’ attitude, confidence, and a full UK or EU driving licence are essential.
About the Glasgow Branch: Our Glasgow branch is a large, high-profile site servicing approximately 2,500 vehicles, with one of the busiest workshops in the country. It also supports around 2,000 additional vehicles from nearby branches in Broxburn, Stirling, and Aberdeen.
Location Highlights: Situated next to the M8 motorway and a major shopping centre, our state-of-the-art facility features 9 ramps for efficient vehicle movement. Auxillis operates from this location, providing comprehensive vehicle hire and accident management services.
Role Responsibilities: As a Yard Controller, you will be the face of Northgate for customers, supporting rentals and workshop activities, maintaining site safety and cleanliness, and delivering vehicles during busy periods. Attention to detail and a friendly, helpful approach are vital in explaining vehicle operations and documentation, and in assessing vehicle condition to minimize financial risks.
