I’m recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded retail construction specialist based in Bristol, known for delivering high-quality projects for major food retailers, supermarkets, and convenience brands.
This business is trusted to deliver repeat programmes because of its commercial discipline, operational efficiency, and collaborative approach with clients and supply chain partners.
🔧 The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of food retail projects, ranging from refits and refurbishments through to new store developments.
You’ll work closely with project managers and site teams, ensuring tight cost control, accurate reporting, and effective management of subcontract packages.
The role offers a strong balance between office-based commercial management and project-facing delivery.
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile
* Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within retail, fit out, or fast-track construction
* Strong understanding of cost control, valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Comfortable working to tight programmes in live environments
* Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
* Proactive, organised, and delivery-focused
* Based in or commutable to Bristol
