Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements: We are seeking an experienced RF Systems Engineer who has extensive experience in the full product development lifecycle. You should possess excellent knowledge of communications systems equipment specification, design, and testing. A strong understanding of a wide range of network technologies is essential, along with proven experience in an RF-focused design engineering position. Familiarity with VHF/UHF communications, Navigation, and Surveillance Systems is required. You should be able to break down requirements into functional use cases. A degree in Electronics, RF Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline is preferred. Experience in satellite communications, wireless infrastructure, or defense-related RF systems is desirable. Additionally, exposure to tools such as MATLAB, CST, HFSS, or Keysight PathWave is a plus, along with an understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in RF product design. Responsibilities: As an RF Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and developing end-to-end RF and communications system solutions, bridging the gap between hardware, software, and systems integration. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with hardware and software teams to ensure product interface and functionality, understanding requirements and reviewing architecture. You will also review testing, acceptance, and compliance while monitoring adherence to the V-model. It is your responsibility to ensure that good engineering practices are followed. Additionally, you will support our risk management process, working with stakeholders across the company to understand future needs and requirements, and engaging across multiple functions to comprehend the implications of technical decisions made. You will also help establish commonality and compatibility across systems.
