We are seeking skilled and reliable Fire & Security Engineers to join our team, specialising in the maintenance and fault-finding of fire alarm and intruder systems across the North East region. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in line with industry standards.
What You'll Be Doing
* Carry out maintenance and fault-finding on fire alarm systems, including but not limited to Morley, Kentec, Advanced, Hyfire, and Cooper equipment.
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance withBS5839standards.
* Maintain and fault-find on intruder alarm systems such as Galaxy, Menvier, and Texecom.
* Undertake intruder system maintenance and diagnostics in line withPD6662requirements.
* Accurately log jobs and provide detailed, clear information usingCASH.
* Complete timesheets accurately and ensure they are submitted within deadlines.
* Follow company Health & Safety policies and work safely in accordance with regulatory requirements.
* Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota as part of the engineering team.
* Drive to customer sites across the North Eastfull UK driving licence required.
What You'll Bring
* Minimum3+ years consecutive experienceworking as a Fire & Security Engineer.
* Strong technical knowledge of industry-leading fire and intruder alarm systems.
* Excellent fault-finding, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and attention to detail.
* Strong understanding of relevant British Standards (BS5839 and PD6662).
