Learning Disabilities Support Worker - Adult Learning Disabilties
Permanent | Part time - 20 hours (Mon-Tues 9:00-3:30, Wed 9:00-4:00)£13.69 - £14.59 per hour (£14,271 - £15,211 pro rata) Based at The Tynedale Centre, Hexham

We support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, focusing on building independence, confidence and life opportunities. No two days are the same, you'll help make everyday moments matter.
About this role:
* You will be working daytime hours (Mon-Wed),perfect for work-life balance

You'll support service users to enjoy a wide range of meaningful and confidence building activities, which may include:
* Swimming
* Horse riding
* Gardening
* Bowling
* Music therapy
* Sensory walks and outdoor exploration
Whether you're helping someone try a new hobby or encouraging independence in daily routines, you'll be part of moments that truly matter.
Responsibilities of the job:
* Provide physical,personaland emotional care
* Support service users in accessing community activities
* Prepare and serve meals and drinks
* Administer medication (training provided)
* Contribute to individual care plans and recordkeeping
* Communicate effectively with colleagues,familiesand external partners
* Participate in training,supervisionand team meetings
