Role Overview
The Class 2 Driver will be responsible for safely operating a Class 2 vehicle to deliver goods and services to our clients while adhering to all road safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities

Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely, following all traffic laws and company procedures.

Deliver goods and materials to scheduled locations, ensuring timely and accurate service.
*
Carry out daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks, reporting defects promptly.
*
Safely load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured to prevent damage.
*
Maintain accurate delivery documentation including logs, mileage and incident reports.
*
Provide professional customer service and resolve delivery‑related queries.
*
Ensure compliance with safety standards, hours‑of‑service rules and company H&S policies.
*
Collaborate with warehouse, logistics and planning teams to support efficient operations.
*
Follow company Health, Safety & Environment procedures and driver handbook requirements.
*
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in daily work tasks and processes.
Skills and Experience
*
UK Driving Licence Category C
*
In‑date UK Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
*
Strong navigation ability and working knowledge of UK road networks.
*
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
*
Experienced in safely and legally securing loads.
*
Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturday mornings.
