Operations Manager – Healthcare
A leading facilities services provider is seeking an electrically‑biased Operations Manager to lead a lighting lifecycle programme and manage emergency lighting remedials across a large healthcare estate.
This role requires proven hospital electrical experience, the ability to work autonomously, and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver a multi‑year lighting lifecycle strategy, including design coordination and manufacturer liaison.
* Produce technical reports, condition surveys, and lifecycle plans.
* Manage all emergency lighting remedials and oversee reactive and planned electrical maintenance.
* Coordinate subcontractors and supply chain partners to clear backlogs and replace failed assets.
* Ensure full compliance with statutory and healthcare electrical standards.
* Act as a senior technical point of contact for internal teams and client stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
* Strong electrical background (degree or equivalent in Electrical / Building Services).
* Hospital or healthcare FM experience (non‑negotiable).
* Proven experience in electrical operations or technical management.
* Strong subcontractor and supply chain management capability.
* Excellent senior‑level communication and influencing skills.
* Ability to manage workload independently.
* DBS clearance (or eligibility).
