Together, we are CAVU The Role and Responsibilities: Reporting to the CPO & an integral part of the people leadership team, the Head of Learning and Development will be responsible for developing and executing learning, talent development & succession planning within CAVU globally. The Head of L&D will have full ownership for the Learning and Development strategy. Ensuring CAVU has the leadership, technical and professional capabilities to meet its objectives, both now and in the future. You will work collaboratively to develop and deliver learning and development solutions, which improve manager and leadership capability, as well as updating policies, tools and processes for learning and development, to be utilised globally. Develop and execute an L&D strategy, which supports CAVUs People vision of being 'a great place to join achieve and grow' Develop and update L&D policies, processes, tools and toolkits which can be used across CAVU globally. Develop a range solutions, systems and programmes to support top quality future leaders, up to and including our Executive Leadership Team. Implement and manage a learning platform that is appropriate for a globally fast scaling business. Develop an engaging and impactful Front Line Leaders program. Provide thought leadership to CAVU and the CAVU People Leadership Team on all elements of learning, development and careers. Deliver a range of solutions that engage our colleagues and create a diverse pipeline of outstanding CAVU leaders who are capable of scaling with the business and role modelling our values. Skills and Experience: Proven experience of designing and delivering effective learning and development strategies. Can demonstrate development of L&D solutions involving best practice and use of technology. Familiar with learning management systems and how to optimise their use for delivery and reporting. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Solid knowledge of the external trends and best practice. Experience of implementing group wide strategies in a complex matrix organisation. Proven leadership experience within a large operational environment. Creative and forward thinking Good working knowledge of latest leadership development thinking with extensive external networks to draw on.
