We are recruiting for a Controls and Automation Engineer to join a specialised supplier of Construction Materials, working at their heavily automated manufacturing site in Loughborough/Barrow Upon Soar. This role offers up to £58,000, Monday‑Friday days (7am‑4pm). Overtime is paid at a premium, with a high benefits package including a company pension contribution, life assurance scheme, and discretionary company bonus scheme.

Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain automated control systems, including programming, inverters, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
* Maintain all controls and electrical assets in compliance with company health, safety, and site standards.
* Oversee C&E work (projects and shutdowns) safely and efficiently within the allocated time and budget.
* Work alongside the Engineering Team across manufacturing excellence, focusing on continual improvement and root cause analysis.
Qualifications
* Qualification in a relevant discipline (HNC/D Level in C&E Engineering or equivalent).
* Experience with Siemens S5, S7 and TIA.
* Knowledge of PLCs and inverters for programming and fault finding.
* Awareness of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
* Ability to perform at the highest level within a dynamic environment and embrace change.
