The Role As Health & Safety Manager, you will champion and embed the UK Bus Health & Safety Management System across multiple garages and operational sites. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and frontline teams to ensure safety is not just compliant — but proactive, embedded, and continuously improving. Key Responsibilities Provide expert, authoritative H&S advice across the business Develop and implement site-specific safety management plans Conduct audits, inspections, and site visits to drive standards Interpret legislation and turn it into practical, actionable guidance Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis (including RIDDOR) Ensure full statutory compliance across all sites Deliver insightful performance reports to senior leadership Oversee training programmes and inductions Chair health, safety & environmental meetings Drive clear, engaging safety communication across the organisation About You You’re confident, credible, and not afraid to challenge. You know how to influence at all levels and bring people with you.
