Key Responsibilities Patient Reception & Enquiries - Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner. - Manage patient enquiries in person, via telephone, and online. - Provide information regarding appointments, services, and procedures. - Maintain confidentiality in line with GDPR. Appointment & Administrative Support - Book, amend, and cancel appointments using the clinical system. - Process repeat prescriptions. - Update records. - Assist with referrals, results, recalls, and clinical admin. - Ensure accurate data entry. Reception & Office Duties - Answer incoming calls promptly and signpost appropriately. - Handle post, emails, and internal communication. - Maintain a tidy reception area. - Process payments where required. Teamwork & Practice Support - Work effectively with clinical and admin staff. - Follow practice policies and safeguarding guidelines. - Participate in meetings and training. - Provide cover for colleagues as needed.
