Job Description:
As part of the Quality team of a global manufacturing company, this role will offer the opportunity to utilise your skills as an integral team member to ensure that the Quality Department can perform its Quality role in line with company objectives, and assist in the manufacturing process of trigger sprayers by the implementation of the company Quality systems and procedures.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring, measuring & control of moulding & assembly production processes during shift to compliance standards.
Duties will include:
* Inspection of production to ensure suitability for customer requirements.
* Assessment of moulded components/materials to ensure conformance to approved procedures.
* Hands-on repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
* To assist with trials of new materials / products / processes / customer samples.
* To maintain adequate quality records.
* To ensure manufacturing processes comply with QMS.
* Responsibility for housekeeping within laboratory environment.
* Any other duties assigned by your supervisor in order to achieve the relevant daily production / quality targets.
Essential criteria:
* 1 year's Quality experience within the last 3 years.
* Ability to work under minimum supervision, with a logical approach to problem solving and decision making.
* Ability to work shift patterns, (currently continental pattern), with a flexible attitude to reasonable overtime.
* Excellent communication skills
Desirable criteria:
* Working knowledge of various elements of ISO 9001/2015
* Familiarity with measuring devices
