Travel Passenger Officer Permanent Grade 3 - £26,409 - £32,654 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week Work base - Across Birmingham and hybrid working The Children and Young Peoples’ Travel Service (CYPTS) provide 6,000 children and young people for whom without transport provision would not be able to attend education. As a Travel Passenger Officer, you will be responsible for Passenger Assistant allocation and co-ordination. You will be responsible for supervising and deploying Passenger Assistants, an agile 400 workforce. You’ll will work closely with parents, schools and our transport operators to give our children and families a first-class service. You’ll have a good understanding of the challenges faced by children and young people with special educational need and their families. Using your skills in information gathering, great communication and getting good resolutions, you’ll put children and families at the heart of what you do. The role will offer hybrid working with travel across Birmingham. As a Travel Passenger Officer there will be a requirement to travel to school sites, transport operator sites and travelling on school routes where required Please upload an up-to-date CV and Personal Statement via the attachments part of your application.
