We are looking for a Global Industry Sector Leader, Large Corporate Property based in London or Munich.
Your Team
You will join the Global Property Line of Business within the CUO organization—a high‑expertise, globally connected team shaping the direction of Allianz Commercial’s Large Corporate Property portfolio. You will work closely with Regional Property Leaders, Industry Sector Specialists, Underwriting Governance teams, Product Development, Claims, Operations, and the broader CUO community.

As the Global Industry Sector Leader for Large Corporate Property, you will play a pivotal role in defining how Allianz Commercial competes in the most complex, high‑value corporate sectors worldwide. You will transform global strategy into actionable underwriting approaches, influence major portfolio decisions, and guide the global underwriting community toward consistent, profitable, and future‑ready practices. Your work will shape underwriting standards, drive sector‑specific innovation, elevate technical capability, and strengthen Allianz Commercial’s global footprint.
Responsibilities
* Translating global Property strategy into clear, sector‑specific underwriting strategies for high‑challenge industries.
* Defining global business appetite, underwriting frameworks and tools.
* Steering global portfolio balance, monitoring performance, and ensuring financial targets are achieved.
* Identifying market trends, claims insights, and competitive developments to refine global underwriting principles.
* Leading global product development initiatives and supporting enhancements to pricing tools and guidelines.
* Representing the Property LoB in internal and external meetings, trainings, and market‑facing activities.
* Acting as the global expert for assigned challenging industries, including managing complex referrals and monitoring profitability.
* Shaping global policy wording standards, including leading AI‑driven policy wording tool development.
* Partnering with the Global Multinational Team to enhance technical excellence and multinational program delivery.
Qualifications
* Advanced expertise in Property risk assessment, underwriting governance, and policy wording.
* Deep technical knowledge of complex industries within Large Corporate Property (11+ years preferred).
* Strong portfolio steering capabilities and experience in underwriting process oversight.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills across senior stakeholder groups.
* Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive global, cross‑functional initiatives.
* Experience working in multinational environments with a global mindset.
* Understanding of multinational programs, global products, and complex coverage structures.
* Comfort with digital transformation, underwriting tools, and innovation initiatives.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
* Ability to ensure ethical AI practices and stay updated with emerging AI technologies.
