Job Description
Aloft and Residence Inn Belfast, part of the JMK Group portfolio, are two exciting Marriott-branded hotels located in the iconic Titanic Quarter.
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the Maintenance function across both sites ensuring the hotels are maintained to the highest standards in line with Marriott brand expectations. You will play a key role in delivering a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our guests and associates.
Guest Experience
* Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests
* Minimise disruption and ensure a positive guest experience at all times
Maintenance Support
* Carry out day-to-day maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house
* Complete basic repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, and general upkeep
* Support preventative maintenance programmes across both hotels
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Follow all company and brand health & safety procedures
* Ensure compliance with fire safety and life safety systems
* Identify and report maintenance risks or hazards proactively
Operations
* Assist in monitoring building systems including HVAC, water, and electrical systems
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
* Support sustainability and energy-saving initiatives
Experience
* Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a similar role preferred
* Experience within hospitality is beneficial but not essential
Skills & Attributes
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and shifts
