This is a hands-on, field-based role where you’ll be maintaining, installing and fault-finding on systems the keep things running 24/7!
🔧 What you’ll be doing:
* Maintaining & supporting operationally critical comms systems
* Installing & upgrading RADAR, VHF & microwave equipment
* Fault-finding across RF & telecoms systems
* Working across multiple unique sites along the river
✅ What we’re looking for:
* Solid background in RF / radio / telecoms engineering
* Experience with at least 2 of the following: RADAR, VHF, microwave
* Hands-on experience in installation, maintenance & fault finding
* Comfortable working in the field (and at height!)
* A calm, problem-solving mindset when things get critical
🔄 The setup:
* 1 in 4 on-call rota (with days off before & after đź‘Ť)
* Mix of team collaboration & independent working
* Full training & support for working at height
