Your New Role:
As a Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Architect, you will be at the forefront of shaping enterprise-grade supply chain solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). Your strategic and hands-on role will involve:
Your Role Accountabilities:
* Architectural Leadership (30%): Design and govern Dynamics 365 Supply Chain solution architectures that meet enterprise standards for scalability, integration, and performance.
* Solution Design & Workshops: Lead fit-gap analysis and design workshops across all SCM functional areas, ensuring alignment with end-to-end supply chain processes.
* Functional Expertise (20%): Provide expert guidance across Microsoft’s SCM capabilities, including:
o Product Information Management
o Procurement and Sourcing
o Inventory and Warehouse Management
o Master Planning and Forecasting
o Production Control (Discrete, Process, and Lean manufacturing)
o Asset Management
o Sales and Marketing (order processing and fulfilment)
o Transportation and Landed Cost Management
o Engineering Change Management
o Supplier Collaboration and Planning Optimisation
o Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning (DDMRP)
* Technology Alignment (10%): Stay updated with Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 SCM roadmap, ensuring solutions leverage the latest innovations.
* Stakeholder Management (10%): Collaborate with programme leadership and technical teams to translate business goals into robust solution architectures.
* FastTrack Delivery Leadership (10%): Champion Microsoft’s FastTrack principles to ensure smooth and successful deployments.
* Quality, Governance & Integration (10%): Enforce architectural best practices and integration patterns using tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
* Team Enablement (10%): Provide leadership to delivery teams, ensuring consistent standards and effective knowledge transfer.
Qualifications & Experiences:
Required:
* 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / AX, including 3–4+ full-cycle implementations in Supply Chain or Manufacturing.
* Hands-on expertise across multiple SCM modules.
* Strong understanding of D365 architecture, Azure, and Integration Patterns.
* Experience leading Design Authorities or Architecture Review Boards.
* Real-world experience in discrete, process, or lean manufacturing environments.
* Practical experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and configuration management.
Desirable:
* Experience in multi-entity, global enterprises (retail or consumer goods preferred).
* Familiarity with Microsoft FastTrack and collaboration with Microsoft solution engineering teams.
* Exposure to AI-driven financial analytics and Commerce Cloud modernisation.
* Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks.
