Production EngineerBurnleyOutside IR35Immediate Start6 MonthsRoleA fast-paced manufacturing business is looking for a Production Engineer to support Manufacturing Engineering, Design, and Planning. Youll handle routings, CNC programming, sheet-metal development, and day-to-day production support.Key Responsibilities
* Create routings, CNC programs, cut lists, and job packs
* Produce sheet-metal developments (2D/3D CAD-CAM)
* Maintain CNC laser programs and optimise utilisation
* Design jigs, fixtures, and fabrication supports
* Manage IFS tasks and revision changes
* Support shop floor queries and first-off inspections
* Contribute to DFM and continuous improvement
* Provide cost estimates and make vs buy decisions
Requirements
* Apprentice-trained mechanical engineer
* Strong CAD-CAM and CNC experience
* ERP experience (IFS preferred)
* Confident communicator, able to multitask
* Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
