Job Duties:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons for primary school students
Assess and record student progress, providing feedback to parents and school management
Manage the classroom environment to promote positive learning experiences
Develop and implement behaviour management strategies
Demonstrate a strong understanding of primary school curriculum and pedagogy
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Prior experience teaching primary school students is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to conduct assessments and use data to inform teaching practises
Excellent behaviour management skills
Thorough knowledge of primary school curriculum
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training or qualifications in specific areas of primary education
Working Conditions:
Typical school hours with additional time required for lesson planning and assessment
Collaboration with other teachers and school staff
Potential for involvement in extracurricular activities and school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
