Job Title: Construction Project Manager Job Reference: J89393 Venn Group is recruiting a Construction Project Manager on a permanent contract to join a well-established and award-winning construction company based in North Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of projects and play a key role in delivering high-quality construction outcomes. You will manage projects from inception to completion, acting as the primary client contact to ensure timely delivery, budget control, and quality standards are met. Location: St Asaph (site based) Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum Hours: 42.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday Contract Type: Permanent The duties will include: Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring on-time and cost-effective delivery Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and work programmes Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project alignment Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and labour for optimal resource use Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety, and contractual obligations Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients Collaborate with the commercial team to maintain cost control and contractual compliance Oversee quality control, safety, and adherence to design specifications Manage and lead teams including contractors and subcontractors Capture and share knowledge, driving process improvements Maintain effective financial management throughout projects Essential Skills/Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry Degree or HNC in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification Valid SMSTS and First Aid certificates Strong understanding of building regulations, construction contracts, and industry standards Proven leadership experience managing teams and subcontractors Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities Proficient IT skills Full UK driving licence What we offer: Competitive salary with generous holiday entitlement and additional service days Car allowance Life cover and insurance Matching pension contribution Company bonus scheme Referral programme and company events Wellbeing initiatives, employee discounts, and recognition schemes If you are interested in this position please contact Tom Shingler or Dan Judge on 0161 830 1830 or send your CV to tshingler@venngroup.com Venn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
