To support UHBW Arts & Culture delivery at Weston General Hospital there is an exciting opportunity to join the team! Funded by Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity this twelve-month pilot role of one day a week will focus on strengthening ward-based connections and expanding delivery of live music and creative activities at Weston General Hospital. The Weston based Arts Programme Coordinator will also support projects undertaken with strategic partners and in the outdoor realm, such as the annual Weston Arts + Health Festival.
Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Coordinate and deliver arts activities and events across Weston General Hospital.
2. Liaise with artists, staff, patients, volunteers, and external partners.
3. Support marketing, communications, and documentation of arts projects.
4. Maintain equipment and resources, ensuring safe working practices.
5. Assist with fundraising and budget management.
6. Lead outreach and education initiatives, including workshops and exhibitions.
What we are looking for:
7. Graduate-level qualification or equivalent experience in arts and culture.
8. Strong project delivery and communication skills.
9. Experience handling documentation and evaluation data.
10. Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours activity.
11. A current driving licence and willingness to drive Trust vehicles.
