Job Description:
As a Lesson Supervisor, you will oversee classroom activities during the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and maintain a positive learning environment. You will manage behavior, deliver pre-set lessons, and provide support where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise students during lessons, ensuring a calm and productive atmosphere
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and activities in the absence of the teacher
* Assist students with their learning tasks and answer any queries
* Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies
* Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress and any issues
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a school environment or working with young people is advantageous but not essential
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Ability to stay calm, flexible, and proactive in different situations
* Genuine interest in education and working with students
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
