Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repairs and maintenance, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues with various types of vehicles. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance. This job is for a 5 day week with some Saturday hours extra hours Sunday if required wage depends on experience
Duties
* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
* Diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate tools and techniques, including computer diagnostics.
* Replace or repair defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
* Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and advancements in technology related to mechanical work.
* Be able to communicate with customers and have good communication skills
Experience
* Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is essential.
* Familiarity with various types of vehicles and machinery is highly desirable.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are a must.
