We are now recruiting a Senior Support Worker to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, compliant, and compassionate care.
Role Overview – Senior Support Worker
As a Senior Support Worker, you will support the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, stepping in to lead in their absence. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will guide, mentor, and support staff while ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities – Senior Support Worker
1. Support the Service Manager with service delivery and lead the team when required
2. Line manage, coach, and develop Support Workers
3. Ensure rotas are effectively managed and shifts are covered
4. Build positive relationships with families, social workers, and external professionals
5. Maintain compliance with CQC standards and contractual requirements
6. Complete audits, spot checks, and maintain accurate records
7. Promote safeguarding, confidentiality, and best practice at all times
8. Support continuous improvement and contribute to service development

What We’re Looking For in a Senior Support Worker
16. Minimum 1 year experience as a Support Worker
17. Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours
18. Strong communication and leadership skills
19. Knowledge of care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding
20. Basic IT skills
21. Full UK driving licence (required)
