Duties
* Lead & manage all aspects of the restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Lead from the front with a culture of respect and integrity; someone who knows how to build teams and grow talent.
* Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving practices to maintain high standards of service.
* You must be commercially savvy understanding P&Ls, KPIs and how to drive results.
* Oversee food production processes while ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and best practices.
* Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
* Develop and implement training programmes for team members to enhance their skills in hospitality and culinary services.
* Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth among staff members.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative menu offerings that reflect current trends in the culinary industry.
Experience
* Proven experience in a fast paced managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality sector is essential. Japanese or similar cuisine would be a bonus.
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
* Previous management experience is required, demonstrating effective team management skills.
* Familiarity working with both alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages.
* Have the ability to be self disciplined, take full ownership of the business as if it were your own.
* Highly people focused both guests and colleagues with a terrific people culture
