Power Platform Analyst
Full Time / Permanent
£45,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience plus a bonus and genuinely good benefits package
Remote / Hybrid – 1 day every couple of months in Midlands / Oxfordshire head office on average
The Role
As a Power Platform Analyst, you will engage with the wider IT team, Architects, delivery specialists, and third-party partners to deliver integrations between the Microsoft Power Platform, primarily D365 Customer Engagement, external services, and other applications. You will utilize the Power Platform, available plug-ins, and Azure technologies such as Service Bus and API endpoints to facilitate automated data flows between applications and retrieve data from third-party services.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand and document business requirements within the Azure DevOps toolset.
* Manage Power Platform environments, ensuring control, structure, and consistency.
* Apply understanding of the Microsoft Dataverse structure to maintain data integrity.
* Analyze third-party API offerings to design data point mappings.
* Design and develop secure, scalable solutions based on best practices.
* Collaborate with architects and IT delivery teams to ensure solutions meet standards and are fit for purpose.
* Ensure resilience and supportability of solutions via alerting, logging, and error handling.
* Create high-quality technical documentation outlining deliverables.
* Participate in the full Sprint lifecycle, including planning, backlog review, and retrospectives.
* Deliver playback sessions to explain technical solutions within the Sprint.
* Engage with the Test Practice to ensure high-quality solutions.
* Provide ongoing service through Incident and Problem Management.
* Deploy technical solutions responsibly.
* Adhere to governance and change control standards.
Skills and Experience Required
* Proven experience developing solutions using the full Microsoft Power Platform.
* Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, specifically D365 Customer Engagement.
* Experience working with Azure Service Bus to configure interfaces.
* Knowledge of the broader Microsoft Azure platform and PaaS environment.
* Experience working with API endpoints and data mapping.
* Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies, including SCRUM.
* Strong stakeholder communication, influence, and expectation management skills.
* Ability to translate requirements into technical specifications.
* Track record of successful technological implementations.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
