Account Development Manager - Branded Food
This role is for a sales professional with responsibility to manage and grow the branded food business in Scotland and England. The role involves seeking new business as well as some account management across Convenience retail, foodservice and wholesale. The position is with D R Newitt Recruitment, a specialist in Food and FMCG search and headhunt for Sales, Marketing, ECommerce, Exec & Senior roles.
Responsibilities
* Sell and grow listings for a great Scottish food brand in designated channels (Convenience, Foodservice, Wholesale).
* Prospect and secure new business opportunities while managing and developing existing accounts.
* Collaborate with team; participate in office-based activities approximately one day per week in Central Scotland.
Qualifications / Candidate Profile
* Entrepreneurial sales mentality with a track record of seeking new listings.
* Experience in selling food, drinks or FMCG.
* Based in Central Belt Scotland; willing to travel as needed.
Compensation
Competitive basic salary negotiable around £40-45k plus car allowance and bonus; there is career and salary progression potential.
