Five Education is working with a supportive primary school in Melksham that is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their SEND resource base on a full-time basis. This specialist provision supports children with a range of complex needs in small class sizes, allowing for a more personalised and nurturing approach to learning. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, patient, and a strong team player, with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. The Role Supporting pupils with complex learning needs within the resource base Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis Assisting the teacher with adapted lessons and activities Supporting pupils with communication, social, and emotional development Helping to maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment The Ideal Candidate Experience working with children with SEND (school or similar setting) A proactive and flexible approach A team player who collaborates well with staff Patient, resilient, and calm under pressure Passionate about making a positive impact on children's learning and wellbeing *If you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70.
