The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of the backend software perm vertical of 6 Seniors/Principals currently doing £1M per year with 277 clients, there is headcount and budget to grow this team to 10 heads over the next 18 months. The business is known for winning and delivering on high-quality roles with VC-backed start-ups, while also developing enterprise partnerships with global brands meaning a genuinely warm landing and strong job flow.
With average billings of £300K per consultant and a structured approach to winning premium clients, this environment is built for high performers who want to maximise earnings and career progression.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading and developing a backend software recruitment team
* Driving revenue within the permanent technology market
* Building and managing relationships with VC-backed start-ups and scale-ups
* Identifying and securing high-value client partnerships
* Contributing to the strategic growth of the division

* Partners with Series A/B start-ups across the UK & US
* Revenue has doubled every year since launch (with 2022 used to stabilise growth)
* Circa 50 consultants averaging £300K billing
* Strong market reputation enabling access to premium clients and retained work
* Example clients include work with organisations such as Tesco, HSBC, Barclays, NatWest, Ticketmaster and eBay, alongside high-growth start-ups.

* Commission: 10%–50% with no threshold
