Overview
The General Manager is a key role in making The Pack Horse a success. You will oversee a high‑volume fresh food‑led site with a 35%/65% wet/dry split and operate with a net weekly revenue of roughly 35 000.
Responsibilities
* Operate fresh food‑led sites with net a week of at least 35K and 35%/65% wet/dry split.
* Promote the brand through social media, build local reputation and host quality events.
* Build and maintain strong reputation based on great food and excellent hospitality; engage with customers and value feedback.
* Build and motivate a strong, efficient team; create a culture of involvement, professionalism and fun; recognise team contributions.
* Manage P&L, actively manage key lines, maintain tight control on cash and stocks, manage controllable costs, keep admin impeccable and on time.
* Develop positive community relationships, strong customer service skills and inspire culture across the site.
* Seek continual improvement of site and personal development; advocate for continual learning for your team.
* Plan and organise strategically, set long‑term goals, use evidence‑based decision‑making and determination to succeed.
* Demonstrate passion, resilience, friendliness, fairness, ethical approach and be an empowering leader.
