You will also undertake project technical/quality reviews and attend design reviews for projects and site visits when needed.Our Civil Engineering discipline boast a supportive and collaborative environment, and the successful engineer can expect hands-on guidance and prosperous career development. Our ideal Civil Engineer must have: A degree or equivalent in civil engineering, working towards a professional qualification. Relevant experience in Scottish and UK development related civil engineering and design standards, on a variety of projects from feasibility to construction. Competency and good knowledge of industry design software packages. eg Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, Site 3D Excellent interpersonal skills used to develop collaborative working relationships with colleagues.It would be nice for you to have: The desire to undertake relevant CPD and increasing skills and knowledge. A commercial awareness and an understanding of different forms of contract. Sound problem solving skills, taking accountability for assigned work. Good report writing and presentation skills at project level.
