Are you passionate about making a real impact within your community through education and outreach for learners with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (LDD)? Do you thrive on connecting with diverse audiences and empowering individuals to access valuable resources and opportunities?

If yes, the Community Learning department has an exciting opportunity for a passionate, motivated and imaginative Programme Area Manager to join our team at the Stockwell centre.

To excel in this role, you should have:

* Recruitment & Outreach Abilities – Skilled in attracting new learners, particularly those with LDD, and increasing course participation.
* Knowledge of LDD & Inclusive Education – Understanding of the challenges faced by LDD learners and strategies to create accessible learning environments.
* Passion for Community Development & Education – A strong commitment to empowering individuals through learning opportunities.
* Effective Communication & Interpersonal Skills – Ability to engage, collaborate, and build relationships with learners, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* Ability to Connect with Diverse Audiences – Comfortable engaging with individuals from various backgrounds and needs.
* Empathy & Patience – A supportive and understanding approach in guiding individuals toward educational opportunities.
* Familiarity with Community Resources & Networks – Awareness of local services and support systems to enhance learner engagement.

About Morley College

Established in 1889, and with our roots stretching back even further, Morley College London is one of the country's oldest and largest specialist providers of adult education. We provide long-term, sustainable and affordable programmes of lifelong learning across three centres – North Kensington, Chelsea and Waterloo – including 16-19 provision at North Kensington and Chelsea.

As one of only nine Specialist Designated Institutions (SDIs) in the UK, we serve more than 17,000 students through a coherent, student-centred course offer, underpinned by our mission to empower individuals and strengthen communities through education in Arts, Culture and Applied Sciences.
