We are looking for a Personal Assistant for a young man in Whitley Bay who can preferably sign (BSL not Makaton) or use SSE (sign supported English) for 12 hours per week. A willingness to learn sign language would be considered depending on other factors (skills, experience etc).
Support in social and leisure interests (cinema, theatre, anime etc) and have the patience to chat about these things, someone who can work weekends regularly and afternoons/evenings, then all the additional stuff for personal care, feeding, etc.
Our client is happy to provide more detailed info on what the job would involve.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a DBS application. This will be funded by the employer.
