The agency
This lovely boutique agency really punches above their weight and has a strong and loyal client base for whom they deliver conferences, incentives, meetings & events across the UK and internationally! Due to exciting new business wins, we are now supporting with the recruitment of a Venue & Events Coordinator.
The role
The Venue & Events Coordinator will assist in all aspects of conference and events administration, venue sourcing and management, as well as individual hotel bookings related to client-specific requirements. Working on their bespoke booking platform, you will research venues and destinations, negotiate rates, work closely with DMCs, and create winning proposals for your clients. You will also attend industry fam trips and events to broaden your venue knowledge.
About you
We are looking for experience ideally in venue sourcing and supporting events such as meetings, incentives, and conferences - an Event Administrator, Venue Finder, or Events Coordinator seeking an opportunity to progress and work with a fantastic team! Agency experience / venue finding experience is preferred, but we would also consider candidates with hotels / MICE industry background. This is an office-based role; a driving license and own car are essential.
