Commissioning Support Officer (Age Well Team) Ref: SS07025

Contract: Full Time - 37 hours

Grade: G5- Salary Range: £28,598 - £31,022

Are you passionate about making a difference in the community?Walsall Council is looking for dedicated and innovative individuals to join our Commissioning Team.

Following a review of our commissioning functions across the council, we are developing a new approach focused on impactful commissioning, securing outcomes that matter, drawing upon more collaborative and joint/ multidisciplinary approaches and adopting more of a people and place- based perspective.

We will achieve this through a substantial investment in commissioning that brings together four key areas of commissioning across the Council to create a more integrated approach to Health, Care, and Communities.

Commissioning–Age Well

As a Commissioning Support Officer, you will focus on core support areas for Home Care and Residential Care. This is a key area for development and there are some exciting pilot projects that these posts will be responsible for taking forward to inform a longer-term approach to how this support is delivered in Walsall.

If you are wanting to move into commissioning this role is a great way to start. There will be opportunities to develop, getting involved in a wide range of projects and be supported to grow your experience. The role will work to support the wider team and helping with the general running of the commissioning team
