Matthew James are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Hot Tub Engineer to join our clients team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of hot tubs, spas, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing, electrics, and water systems, with a commitment to delivering excellent service. Overtime is paid after 40hours at a increase rate. Key Responsibilities: Install hot tubs and spas at residential or commercial properties. Diagnose and repair faults with plumbing, electrical components, pumps, heaters, and control panels. Perform routine maintenance including cleaning filters, balancing chemicals, and inspecting parts for wear. Conduct pre-delivery inspections and prepare equipment for customer handover. Provide technical advice and guidance to customers regarding usage and care. Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports. Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies. Travel to customer sites using a company vehicle (if applicable). Requirements: Proven experience in hot tub/spa installation or maintenance (or similar trade experience such as plumbing or electrical work). Knowledge of water treatment and chemical balancing. Competency with hand and power tools. Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems. Full UK driving licence (or applicable in your country). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Physically fit with the ability to lift and move heavy items. Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset. Preferred Qualifications: Electrical or plumbing certification. Experience with multiple hot tub brands and models. Pool/spa industry training or accreditation (e.g., BISHTA or APSP certified).
