Job Description
The Tritium Fuel Cycle (TFC) division leads the delivery of tritium life cycle solutions for sustainable fusion energy. The Tritium Fuel Cycle Project Delivery Group provides technical leadership on best practices for delivering and monitoring projects. As the Technical Support Team Leader, you will ensure the efficient application and delivery of the Technical Control process, robust data handling and document control. The main focus of this role is the management and development of a team of 5-9 technical coordinators.
Responsibilities
* Identify and implement improvements in working practices and methods to promote greater divisional awareness and understanding of the UKAEA process.
* Increase departmental efficiency and compliance with business practices through the provision of technical advice, guidance, and informal training. Providing input to formal training as appropriate.
* Oversight and facilitation of the tracking of technical documentation within the team.
* Provide support in administering data management of the division in the context of SharePoint.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
* Relevant qualification, e.g. HNC / apprenticeship or equivalent in Business, Science, and/or Engineering related discipline.
* Previous experience of managing and developing a team.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively, both to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience in coordinating projects.
* Extensive experience of and excellent technical report writing skills.
* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload.
* Good IT literacy and competency in utilising MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
