Role Overview:
KPMG UK seeks a Senior GenAI Engineer to join our Data & AI team. You will contribute to the development and deployment of generative AI models, support client project delivery, and collaborate to drive impactful AI solutions. You will design AI systems, manage teams, and ensure effective integration of AI models into client environments while adhering to data governance and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. AI Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement generative AI models to solve client challenges. Collaborate with senior AI engineers and data scientists to align solutions with business goals. Participate in creating PoCs, MVPs, and full AI projects that deliver business value.
2. Client Project Delivery & Team Management: Support AI solution delivery, ensure successful outcomes, and manage/mentor AI engineers and data scientists. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement AI models seamlessly.
3. Coding & Implementation: Develop and optimize AI models, ensuring high-quality, production-ready code. Use tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Databricks, and Snowflake for deployment in cloud environments. Manage model integration, version control, and CI/CD processes.
4. Data Management & Integration: Work with data engineering teams to ensure smooth data flow and management, emphasizing data quality, governance, security, and privacy.
5. Business Development & Practice Building: Identify AI opportunities, support feasibility studies, and develop data strategies. Assist in RFPs, proposals, and demos. Contribute to expanding KPMG's AI capabilities with innovative ideas.
6. Ethical and Secure AI Deployment: Ensure AI models comply with data governance and industry regulations. Implement best practices for data privacy, security, and ethical AI, especially with sensitive data. Develop guidelines for secure data handling in AI projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant professional experience or certifications in AI/ML are advantageous.

* Work Experience: 5+ years in AI/ML, with a focus on generative AI solutions. Proven experience with LLMs like GPT, BERT, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
* Skills: Proficiency in designing and coding generative AI models, prompt engineering, understanding of AI/ML algorithms, and deployment in scalable cloud environments. Experience with version control, Docker, and data engineering tools. Strong leadership and communication skills for mentoring teams.
