Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Team Manager to join Warwickshire’s Leaving Care Service. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who believes that young people leaving care deserve the best possible start in adulthood, especially in securing safe, stable, and suitable housing.
About the Team: Warwickshire’s Separated Children and Leaving Care Team work with care-experienced young people aged 16-25 and young people who are separated children in care and care experience. The team is a single service with staff divided by workload across separated Young People Seeking and the Young People Leaving Care, with a duty rota covering both services. The team is county-wide with offices in the North and South of the county to enable access for all our young people. This role contributes to embedding the Families First approach, supporting local partnerships with Health, Police and Education to support the whole family.

Responsibilities
* Provide strategic oversight of our Supported Lodgings and Staying Put schemes.
* Manage and support a small team of experienced professionals, including two Housing Advisors and one Personal Advisor responsible for assessing supported lodging providers, presenting them to panel, and overseeing Staying Put arrangements.
* Ensure young people are supported through strong multi-agency partnerships and innovative housing solutions.
* Lead and develop the Leaving Care service to achieve positive outcomes for care leavers.
Key Requirements
* Strong interest in housing and understands the challenges faced by care-experienced young people.
* Confident in leading and supporting a team.
* Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders, including the Department for Education, district and borough councils, and housing providers.
* Proactive, solution-focused mindset to service development and delivery.
* Experience in housing, social care, or youth services is desirable, but transferable skills and passion for making a difference will be considered.
