Location: West Nottinghamshire College – Inclusion Services
Contract: 30 hours per week, term-time only, flexible working

The Role:
* Provide communication support using BSL, Signed Supported English, notetaking, and lipspeaking.
* Adapt communication methods to meet the diverse learning styles of d/Deaf and Hearing Impaired learners.
* Work flexibly, including 2:1 classroom support, notetaking, signing, or modifying language.
* Support learners across curriculum and college activities, including occasional evening, weekend, or residential learning (with potential overnight stays).
* Promote and embed college values: Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, High Expectations, Responsibility.
About You:
* Hold BSL Level 2 (essential).
* Experience of working within the d/Deaf community is desirable.
* Strong understanding of d/Deaf culture and the needs of learners with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to supporting learners in a variety of settings.
* Able to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
