Overview
Head of Housing and Support – West Midlands or Bristol. Our client is a social enterprise with a clear vision, dedicated to empowering refugees and migrants in the UK to lead self-sufficient and ambitious lives. They bring together a diverse team of strategists and researchers, driven by their own lived experiences, to provide tailored integration services. Their mission goes beyond individual support; they actively challenge and disrupt the systems that perpetuate inequalities in society. This is a full-time, permanent role, 37.5 hours per week, operating across all four locations and based at the West Midlands or Bristol hubs.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Head of Housing and Support, you will lead the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused services. You will lead both housing and support functions, ensuring residents are supported to achieve positive outcomes. You will foster a high-performance culture within the services, contribute to strategic aims, and drive a standardised approach to service delivery across operations. You will ensure compliant, engaged tenants who are focused on building better lives, while developing internal teams to enable the organisation to continue achieving results.
What Our Client Is Looking For
To be considered as a Head of Housing and Support, you will need:
* A minimum of three years’ management experience within the supported housing sector
* Experience working in supported housing management operations
* Experience of working directly with and for local authorities
* Knowledge of housing management and housing-related support, including statutory and social requirements relating to newly arrived refugees
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
* A housing management-related qualification at Level 5 or equivalent
