Libertatem Healthcare Group is offering an opportunity for experienced Spinal Injury Support Workers to join their client in Cardiff. The role involves providing care and support to individuals with spinal injuries to help them live independently and with dignity in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
* Respiratory management (cough assist/suctioning)
* Autonomic Dysreflexia management
* Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition
* Administering medication (training provided)
* Providing emotional support and companionship
* Supporting with mobility and physical activities
* Light housekeeping duties
Role Details
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £16.25 per hour on weekdays; £17.25 per hour on Saturdays; £18 per hour on Sundays
Job Type: Zero-hour contract
Shifts: 8am-8pm, 7 days per week. Full-time/part-time hours available. We also have waking and sleeping night shifts available, 8pm-8am, 7 days per week.

Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role, supporting clients with spinal injuries, catheter care, and bowel management is required. A caring and compassionate nature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. A valid UK driving license is essential to drive the Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) during shifts.
